MINI CLUB - MINI SEASON INFORMATION

ALL ABOUT MINI-SEASON

Mini Club Season is a preparatory period for beginner and intermediate players, allowing them extra time to solidify their technique and knowledge of the sport. This period involves practical application in training sessions and tournaments.

Mini club season starts on August 4th. 

Players will have 2 practices per week of 1.5 hrs each practice. 

Boys and Girls 
ALL LEVELS 
10-15 years old
 
  • There will be 4 tournaments during this season . 
  • All players will receive one practice t-shirt and one game jersey. 

Total cost of the season is $600. 

Non- refundable deposit of $ 150 (mandatory on tryout day) and three payments of $150.

*Players will need their AAU membership card by August 15th. Meanwhile they will need to sign the waiver for practice from August 1-15th .

We're thrilled to announce the tryouts for the upcoming regular season of the Five Stars Volleyball Club!

Whether you're a returning player or a newcomer to our club, we're excited to see the talent and dedication you bring to the court.


In order to meet the needs of the community, we offer several levels of instruction within our organization. We offer teams that compete at diferent levels for the club season. We also offer camps, clinics and leagues throughout the year. We feel this structure enables us to offer all levels of volleyball to the athletes in our community. Although a strong focus of our program will be to offer the training required to play at the college level, we want to share our love of the game with all interested players, from the beginner to the elite athlete. We will provide every player the opportunity to reach his or her personal goals involving the sport of volleyball, whether it is to play at the collegiate level, improve as a high school player, or achieve a higher level of physical fitness

Here's what you can expect from the tryout process:

Tryout Schedule:

  • Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to your designated time
  • 30 MINUTES OF Warm-up
  • Skill assessment sessions and evaluations 

Please come prepared with appropriate attire, including athletic clothing, volleyball shoes, knee pads, and plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Check-in Process:

  1. Upon arrival, please proceed to the designated check-in area to sign in and receive your tryout number.
  2. We kindly ask all participants to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  3. During the process you will receive a waiver for you to be able to participate in the tryout session. 

Tryout Evaluation:
Our experienced coaching staff will lead the tryout sessions and assess players based on various skills, including passing, serving, hitting, blocking, and teamwork.

Each player will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities and potential to contribute to our Five Stars teams.

Teams are formed by a panel of coaches who assess participants and group them into appropriate age divisions during tryouts. These sessions not only evaluate skill levels but also assess attributes like attitude, athleticism, desire, leadership, strength, technique, and game sense. Players are selected based on their positions and may be considered for an older age division if it benefits the player, the club, and the team. At the end of tryouts, participants are interviewed by the coaching committee and offered positions on the team, which they must accept or decline. Upon acceptance, athletes confirm their decision with their parents and pay a $600 deposit. 

No exceptions are made unless a player relocates outside of Central Florida. Registration is required for tryouts or programs, and decisions must be made promptly out of consideration for other athletes. Spots are not held or guaranteed without the deposit fee payment.

Results Delivery:
We understand the anticipation surrounding tryout results and aim to provide timely feedback to the  participants.

  • Results will be communicated on the tryout evaluation.
  • An offer letter will be handed to you. 
  • To guarantee your players spot in the team you must complete the deposit fee payment with our Front Desk staff in order to roster your player.
  • Registration steps will be given to you

You will be receiving the same information via email as well following the conclusion of tryouts. Please ensure that the email address provided during registration is accurate and regularly checked.

Please know that the decision of the offer given to you must be communicated to us after we give you the tryout results on this same day. You will have a certain period of time to finish this process.

IMPORTANT: a player's spot in the team is ONLY saved by submitting the deposit fee payment on the same day you received your offer letter.
